Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, which guides are useful and how visitors navigate the site. Measurement may include pages viewed, interactions, approximate source, device type, browser, and similar technical information.
We do not ask for your name, email address, or other directly identifying information to use the site.
Microsoft Clarity
With your permission, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used through heatmaps and session replays. It may record pages visited, clicks, scrolling, and changes to visible content. Input fields are masked, and we review other content that should be hidden.
Clarity may use cookies to link visits. We load its tag only after you allow analytics, and we do not grant advertising storage.
Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights
We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregated statistics about pages viewed, approximate source, country, browser, operating system, and device type. It does not use third-party cookies, and Vercel states that its data is not associated with an individual or used to follow someone between websites.
Vercel Speed Insights records anonymous performance metrics such as loading time, visual stability, and interaction responsiveness. These measurements help us find slow pages without reconstructing an individual browsing session.
These tools run independently of your Google Analytics and Clarity choice. We also use aggregated Vercel events to understand whether the notice was shown, whether a decision was made, and how long the decision took, without storing the individual choice in Vercel.
Your Google Analytics and Clarity choice
Google Analytics and Clarity remain disabled until you choose to allow them. If you continue without allowing analytics, we do not load either tag. We store the choice, notice version, and update date in your browser’s local storage so we do not ask again on every page.
You can change your decision at any time through “Privacy settings” in the footer. If you reject after accepting, we stop new Google Analytics events, tell Clarity that consent was withdrawn, and reload the page to stop its recording. We remove measurement cookies created for this domain where the browser allows it.
Purpose, retention, and third parties
Analytics information is used only to improve content, navigation, and site performance. Google, Microsoft, and Vercel provide the measurement services. We do not use these tools to show advertising or sell our visitors’ analytics data.
Information sent before consent is withdrawn may be retained under each provider’s retention periods.
